  • Weight: A 12 gauge sheet of mild steel weighs 4.528 lbs per square inch
  • Uses: 12 gauge HR steel sheets are used for simple bending, moderate drawing, and welding
  • Surface: HR steel sheets have a rougher surface than cold rolled steel sheets
