Expanded metal sheets are manufactured from standard 48″ × 96″ sheets with the diamonds running in the 96″ direction (Long Way of Diamond / LWD).Because smaller pieces are cut from these master sheets, the diamond orientation on cut-to-size pieces may vary depending on the final dimensions. For example, sizes such as 12″ × 48″, 24″ × 48″, and 36″ × 48″ will typically have the diamonds running across the width rather than the length of the piece. If a specific diamond orientation is required for your project, please contact us before placing your order so we can verify availability and orientation requirements.
