As a 1-1/2″ nominal Schedule 40 pipe, it has a standard 1.900″ outside diameter and approximately .145″ wall thickness. The combination of lightweight aluminum construction and Schedule 40 dimensions provides good rigidity while remaining significantly lighter than comparable steel pipe.
